Innovative Grant 2008 - 2009

The purpose of the Governor’s Innovative Grant is to inspire and encourage unique teaching methods and ideas, by rewarding teachers monetarily. This provides the teacher with an extra resource to develop their original ideas and implement them into their everyday teaching practice. The students in return benefit greatly from the teacher’s creativity and are able to learn in an environment that is “outside the box.” The state of Idaho profits by the Innovative Grant’s ability to create discourse and sharing amongst teachers regarding their exceptional teaching ideas and methods.
