OF THE DESIGNATION OF THE IDAHO TRANSPORTATION |

WHEREAS, the federal government, under
authority granted by the Federal Transit Act, as amended, is authorized to
provide financial assistance to states to improve public transportation; and
WHEREAS, such aid has been offered to Idaho; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that an agency of the State of Idaho be designated and authorized to receive and expend such financial assistance; and NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIRK KEMPTHORNE, Governor of the State of Idaho, by the authority vested in me under the Constitution and laws of this state do hereby continue the designation of the Idaho Transportation Department and its Director to receive and expend monies from the federal government for public transportation assistance as provided under the applicable federal statutes.
