(BOISE) – Here are some of the upcoming events on Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter’s schedule. This schedule is provided for newsroom planning purposes only and is subject to change. All listed times are local to the event.

MONDAY, MARCH 3

  • Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including representatives of the departments of Lands, Parks and Recreation, Administration, and Insurance, as well as the State Insurance Fund, the Division of Human Resources, and the Division of Building Safety, 9 a.m., Department of Lands offices, Suite 103, 300 N. 6th Street, Boise.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5

  • Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including representatives of the departments of Environmental Quality, and Health and Welfare, as well as the Northwest Planning and Conservation Council, the Office of Energy Resources, the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho, the Tax Commission, and the Commission on Aging, 9 a.m., Northwest Power and Conservation Council offices, 10th floor conference room, Pete Cenarrusa Building, Boise.
  • Governor Otter speaks at the Idaho Press Club’s Headliner Luncheon, noon, Beside Bardenay, 610 Grove Street, Boise.
  • Governor Otter signs a proclamation for Idaho’s Mother of the Year and Idaho’s Young Mother of the Year, 2 p.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.

THURSDAY, MARCH 6

  • Governor Otter speaks at the Downtown Rotary Club luncheon, noon, Crystal Ballroom, Hoff Building, Boise.

FRIDAY, MARCH 7

  • First Lady Lori Otter reads to students as part of the “Read Across America” week observances of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, 10 a.m., Garden City Community School, 9165 Chinden Boulevard, Garden City.
  • First Lady Lori Otter speaks at the Idaho Library Association’s “Read to Me” luncheon, 11:45 a.m., AmeriTel Inn Spectrum, Boise.
  • First Lady Lori Otter speaks at the Empowering Women Conference, 5:30 p.m., Hispanic Cultural Center of Idaho, main level multipurpose room, 315 Stampede Drive, Nampa.

SATURDAY, MARCH 8

  • Governor Otter attends State Prayer Breakfast, 8 a.m., Boise Centre on The Grove, Boise.
