(BOISE) – Here are some of the upcoming events on Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter’s
schedule. This schedule is provided for newsroom planning purposes only and is

MONDAY, MARCH 31
- Governor Otter, joined by Lieutenant Governor Risch, hosts a ceremony
for the signing of House Bill 588 on the state grocery tax credit, 10
a.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
TUESDAY, APRIL 1
- Governor Otter presides over a Cabinet meeting, including
representatives of the Northwest Power and Conservation Council, Department
of Environmental Quality, Office of Energy Resources, Public Employee
Retirement System of Idaho, the state Tax Commission, Department of Health
and Welfare, and the Commission on Aging, 10 a.m., Department of
Environmental Quality office, 1410 N. Hilton Street, Boise.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2
- The Governor’s Select Committee on Health Care conducts public
meetings, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Williams Conference Center, Clearwater Room,
Lewis-Clark State College, Lewiston; 4-7 p.m., Health Resource Center, Rooms
FOX1, Kootenai Medical Center, Coeur d’Alene. Governor Otter will not be in
attendance.
THURSDAY, APRIL 3
- Governor Otter speaks at Eagle High School’s “Breakfast of Academic
Excellence” honoring seniors with a 3.5 or better GPA, 8:30 a.m., Eagle
High School, Eagle.
FRIDAY, APRIL 4
- Governor Otter speaks to students from the Excelsior Home School
Co-op about “A Day in the Life of the Governor,” 10 a.m., 2nd Floor
Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
SATURDAY, APRIL 5
- Governor Otter and First Lady Lori Otter attend the Ada County Boys
and Girls Clubs “Wild West Auction” fund-raising event, 5:30 p.m., Boise
Centre on The Grove, Boise.
