(BOISE) – Here are some of the upcoming events on Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter’s schedule. This schedule is provided for newsroom planning purposes only and is subject to change. All listed times are local to the event.

MONDAY, APRIL 7

  • Governor Otter conducts a media availability to discuss the recently completed session of the Idaho Legislature, 10:30 a.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
  • Governor Otter signs a proclamation for the 50th anniversary of the AARP and announces the recipient of the AARP Ethel Percy Andrus Legacy for Innovation Award, 1:30 p.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
  • Governor Otter presides over a Cabinet meeting, including representatives from the departments of Lands, Parks and Recreation, Insurance, and Administration, as well as the State Insurance Fund, the Division of Human Resources and the Division of Building Safety, 2 p.m., Department of Insurance offices, 3rd Floor, 700 W. State Street, Boise.

TUESDAY, APRIL 8

  • Governor Otter and First Lady Lori Otter travel to Firth for the April “Capital for a Day,” 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Firth City Hall, 106 E. Center Street.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9

  • Governor Otter speaks at the State Conference of Health Underwriters, 8 a.m., Idaho Ballroom, Doubletree Riverside, Garden City.
  • Governor Otter presides over a Cabinet meeting, including representatives from the departments of Transportation, Finance, Fish and Game, Water Resources, and Agriculture, as well as the Office of Species Conservation and the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, 9 a.m., Public Utilities Commission office, hearing room, 472 W. Washington, Boise.

THURSDAY, APRIL 10

  • Governor Otter speaks at the 70th annual Intermountain Logging Conference and Equipment Show, 2 p.m., Spokane County Fairgrounds & Expo Center, 404 N. Havana Street, Spokane Valley, Washington.
