(BOISE) – Here are some of the upcoming events on Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter’s schedule. This schedule is provided for newsroom planning purposes only and is subject to change. All listed times are local to the event.

SATURDAY, MAY 31

  • Governor Otter speaks at the graduation ceremony for McCall-Donnelly High School, 2 p.m., McCall.

MONDAY, JUNE 2

  • Governor Otter participates in a press conference announcing the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Sticker Project, 11 a.m., State Liquor Store at 17th and State streets, Boise.

TUESDAY, JUNE 3

  • Governor Otter speaks at the annual Economic Development Symposium hosted by Bannock Development, 11 a.m., Performing Arts Center, Idaho State University, Pocatello.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4

  • Governor Otter speaks at the Idaho Hospital Association’s Western Regional Trustee Symposium, 11:15 a.m., the Falcons Room, Boise Centre on The Grove, Boise.
  • Governor Otter and First Lady Lori Otter receive a weaving from students at Spaulding Elementary School, 1 p.m., Governor’s Office, 3rd Floor, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
  • Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including representatives of the departments of Labor, Commerce, Correction, and Juvenile Corrections, as well as the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, the Women’s Commission and the Industrial Commission, 3 p.m., Department of Commerce, 2nd Floor, 700 W. State Street, Boise.
  • Governor Otter presents the Distinguished Service Medal and speaks briefly at the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Outreach “Boss Lift” Dinner, 8 p.m., Officers Club, Gowen Field, Boise.

THURSDAY, JUNE 5

  • Governor Otter delivers the keynote address to participants in American Legion Boys State, 9 a.m., Science Auditorium, Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa.
  • Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including representatives of the State Liquor Dispensary, the Military Division, the Division of Veterans Services, the Commission of Pardons and Parole, the Idaho Lottery, the Office of Drug Policy and the state Board of Education, 2:30 p.m., State Liquor Dispensary office, 1349 E. Beechcraft Court, Boise.

FRIDAY, JUNE 6

  • Governor Otter hosts a reception for recipients of the Governor’s Cup Scholarship, 2 p.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
