(BOISE) – Here are some of the upcoming events on Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter’s schedule. This schedule is provided for newsroom planning purposes only and is subject to change. All listed times are local to the event.

MONDAY, JULY 28

  • Governor Otter delivers welcoming remarks at the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference, 4:30 p.m., Limelight Ballroom, Sun Valley Inn.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 30

  • Governor Otter attends the Emmett Lions Club Buckaroo Breakfast, 7:30 a.m., Emmett City Park.
  • Governor Otter, along with First Lady Lori Otter and members of his Cabinet, conducts Capital for a Day, 9 a.m.-noon and 1:15-3 p.m., Carberry Middle School, gymnasium, 1950 E. 12th Street, Emmett.
  • Governor Otter, along with First Lady Lori Otter and members of his Cabinet, participate in a Capital for a Day no-host luncheon, noon, Cold Mountain Creek Restaurant , 1825 Highway 16, Emmett.
  • Governor Otter, along with First Lady Lori Otter and members of his Cabinet, visit the Gem County Fairgrounds to tour exhibits, 3:30 p.m., Emmett.

THURSDAY, JULY 31

  • Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including representatives of the Northwest Power and Conservation Council, Department of Environmental Quality, Office of Energy Resources, Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho, State Tax Commission, Department of Health and Welfare, Commission on Aging, Appellate Public Defender, Department of Fish and Game, Department of Correction, and state Women’s Commission; 9 a.m., Commission on Aging office, 3380 Americana, Suite 120, Boise.
  • Governor Otter participates in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the rebuilt Middleton Middle/High School, 5 South 3rd Avenue West, Middleton.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 1

  • Governor Otter throws out the first pitch at the American Legion State Baseball Tournament, 9:50 a.m., Timberline High School, Apple and Boise avenues, Boise.
  • Governor Otter participates in the dedication of the Falcon Building, 3 p.m., 815 Park Boulevard, Boise.
