- Governor Otter and First Lady Lori Otter conduct the August “Capital
for a Day” event, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Arco-Butte Business Incubation Center,

TUESDAY, AUGUST 26
- Governor Otter joins Senator Mike Crapo in welcoming participants to the
state and federal Transportation Summit, 9 a.m., Boise Centre on The
Grove, Boise.
- Governor Otter welcomes the public to the Transportation Funding
Conference, 4 p.m., Boise Centre on The Grove, Boise.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27
- Governor Otter participates in a press conference with
representatives of Idaho’s Individual High Risk Reinsurance Pool, 9
a.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
- Governor Otter addresses the Idaho Correctional Center Fall
Graduation Ceremony for GED and professional/technical students, 2 p.m.,
14601 Pleasant Valley Road, Kuna.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 28
- Governor Otter and First Lady Lori Otter flip pancakes at the pancake
feed kicking off the annual United Way Community Campaign, 9:15 a.m.,
Boise Centre on The Grove Plaza, Boise.
- Governor Otter addresses the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce with a
“State of the State Address to the Business Community,” noon, Ballroom,
Grove Hotel, Boise.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 29
- Governor Otter addresses the Idaho Criminal Justice Commission, 8
