MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22
- Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including
representatives from the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, the departments of
Labor, Commerce, Correction, and Juvenile Corrections, the Industrial
Commission, and the Commission on Aging, 9:30 a.m., Idaho Maximum Security
Institution, 13400 S. Pleasant Valley Road, Boise.
- Governor Otter presents the Idaho Cross to Staff Sergeant Thomas D.
Butler for his actions in rescuing an elderly woman who was struck by a
vehicle, 2:30 p.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock
streets, Boise.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23
- Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including
representatives of the departments of Finance, Transportation, Water
Resources, Agriculture and Fish and Game, as well as the Office of Species
Conservation and the Public Utilities Commission, 9 a.m., MK Nature Center,
Boise.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24
- Governor Otter tours Hecla Mining’s Grouse Creek Mine, 9 a.m.,
near Challis.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25
- Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including
representatives of the Northwest Power and Conservation Council, the state
Tax Commission, the state Women’s Commission, the Public Employee Retirement
System of Idaho (PERSI), the Office of Energy Resources, and the departments
of Environmental Quality, and Health and Welfare, 9 a.m., state Tax
Commission, Suite 200, 2nd Floor, 800 Park Blvd, Boise.
- Governor Otter joins First Lady Lori Otter at a press conference
introducing the First Lady’s children’s book on Idaho history titled “Ida
Visits the Capitol,” 2 p.m., Christine Donnell School of the Arts,
gymnasium, 7075 S. Five Mile, Boise.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
- Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including
representatives of the Idaho State Police, Commission of Pardons and Parole,
State Board of Education, Office of Drug Policy, Military Division, Division
of Veterans Services, State Liquor Dispensary, and Office of the State
Appellate Public Defender, 2 p.m., LBJ Building, 3rd Floor, Clearwater
Conference Room, Boise.
