(BOISE) – Here are some of the upcoming events on Governor C.L. “BUTCH” OTTER’S
schedule. This schedule is provided for newsroom planning purposes only and is
subject to change. All listed times are local to the event.
MONDAY, JANUARY 12
- State Budget Director Wayne Hammon and Governor Otter’s staff – but NOT
THE GOVERNOR – brief members of the news media on background about the
Governor’s Fiscal Year 2010 Executive Budget Recommendation, 11:30
a.m.-noon, DFM/DHR Idaho Room, Joe R. Williams Building, 700 W. State St.,
Boise. Information provided at the briefing will be EMBARGOED for use
until after the 3 p.m. State of the State and Budget Address.
- Governor Otter delivers his annual State of the State and Budget
Address, 3 p.m., followed about 10 minutes after the speech’s conclusion
by a brief media availability, Special Events Center, Boise State
University. Doors to the auditorium section of the Special Events Center
close promptly at 2:30 p.m. However, members of the news media will still
have access to the upper-level viewing area after 2:30 p.m. and throughout
the time of the speech.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 13
- Governor Otter participates in the grand opening celebration and
ribbon cutting for the College of Western Idaho, 11 a.m., CWI Campus,
5500 E. University Way, Nampa.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14
- Governor Otter participates in a news conference on Clearwater
Analytics receiving Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 Award, 11 a.m., 2nd
Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
