(BOISE) – Here are some of the upcoming events on Governor C.L. “BUTCH” OTTER’S schedule. This schedule is provided for newsroom planning purposes only and is subject to change. All listed times are local to the event.

 

MONDAY, JANUARY 19

  • Governor Otter and First Lady Lori Otter speak to a group of second-graders in Cub Scout Pack 132, 7 p.m., Covenant Presbyterian Church, Five Mile and McMillan, Boise.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 20

  • Governor Otter presides over a meeting of the State Board of Examiners, 8:55 a.m., followed by a meeting of the State Land Board, 9 a.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
  • Governor Otter speaks and signs a proclamation for “Professional Technical Education Month” at a legislative luncheon sponsored by the Idaho Professional-Technical Education Foundation, noon, Crystal Ballroom, Hoff Building, Boise.
  • Governor Otter speaks to the Capstone Student Legislature, 3 p.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21

  • First Lady Lori Otter receives an “Honorary State FFA Degree” at the annual legislative luncheon of the Idaho FFA Association, noon, Red Lion Downtowner, 1800 Fairview, Boise.
  • Governor Otter presides over a meeting of his Cabinet, including representatives from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, the state Industrial Commission and the Tax Commission, 2 p.m., Industrial Commission offices, 700 S. Clearwater, Boise.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 22

  • Governor Otter presides over a meeting of his Cabinet, including representatives from the departments of Health and Welfare, Correction, Juvenile Correction, the Commission on Aging, the Office of Drug Policy, the Idaho State Police, Commission of Pardons and Parole, State Board of Education, Office of Appellate Public Defender, and Women’s Commission, 9:30 a.m., Idaho State Police Region 3 Patrol Building, Meridian.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 23

  • Governor Otter presides over a meeting of his Cabinet, including representatives from the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, the Department of Labor, Department of Commerce, Military Division, Division of Veterans Services, State Liquor Dispensary, Idaho Lottery, Division of Building Safety, and Idaho Transportation Department, 10 a.m., State Liquor Dispensary offices, 1349 E. Beechcraft Ct., Boise.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 24

  • Governor Otter speaks at the Idaho Golden Spike Groundbreaking Event, noon, at the point where Eagle and Star come together to form the ESTech Corridor, noon, intersection of Highway 44 and Highway 16.
