(BOISE) – Here are some of the upcoming events on Governor C.L. “BUTCH” OTTER’S schedule. This schedule is provided for newsroom planning purposes only and is subject to change. All listed times are local to the event.
 

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16

  • Governor Otter and First Lady Lori Otter attend the 4-H Know Your Government Conference breakfast, where the First Lady will receive the 4-H Alumni Award, 7 a.m., Red Lion Hotel Downtowner, Boise.
  • Governor Otter hosts the presentation of a check to the Idaho National Guard and Reserve Family Fund, 10 a.m., Governor’s Office, 3rd Floor, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17

  • Governor Otter presides over a meeting of the State Board of Examiners, 8:55 a.m., followed immediately by a meeting of the State Land Board, 9 a.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
  • Governor Otter conducts a meeting of his Cabinet, including representatives of the Department of Finance, Department of Insurance, State Insurance Fund, Division of Human Resources, Department of Administration, Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho, and the State Board of Education, 3 p.m., Department of Finance offices, MK Plaza, Building 4, Boise.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 18

  • Governor Otter conducts a meeting of his Cabinet, including representatives of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, the Industrial Commission, and the Tax Commission, 2 p.m., Public Utilities Commission office, 700 S. Clearwater Lane, Boise.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19

  • Governor Otter addresses the opening session of the National Association of Realtors Board Meeting, 9 a.m., Idaho Association of Realtors office, 301 S. Capitol Boulevard, Boise.
  • Governor Otter meets with his Eastern Idaho Kitchen Cabinet, 1:30 p.m., Idaho Department of Labor office, 1515 E. Lincoln Road, Idaho Falls.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20

  • Governor Otter speaks at the grand opening of the Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES) and reads a proclamation marking the 60th anniversary of the Idaho National Laboratory, 2 p.m., CAES, 995 University Boulevard, Idaho Falls.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21

  • Governor Otter and First Lady Lori Otter travel to Washington, D.C., for the National Governors Association Conference, including dinner Sunday evening at the White House with President and Mrs. Obama, and returning home Tuesday, February 24.
