SATURDAY, MAY 16

  • First Lady Lori Otter gives the keynote speech for the Catholic Women’s Conference and Luncheon, noon, Courtyard Marriott, 1789 S. Eagle Road, Meridian.

MONDAY, MAY 18

  • Governor Otter participates in a Council of State Governments Spring Meeting panel discussion on the federal stimulus program, with the Governors of West Virginia and Montana, 8 a.m., Coeur d’Alene Resort, Coeur d’Alene.
  • Governor Otter presents a low-interest $12,274,000 federal stimulus loan check to representatives of the Central Shoshone County Water District, 10:45 a.m., Coeur d’Alene Resort, Coeur d’Alene.

TUESDAY, MAY 19

  • Governor Otter presides over a meeting of the State Board of Examiners, 8:55 a.m., followed immediately by a meeting of the State Land Board, 9 a.m., 2nd Floor Courtroom, Borah Building, 8th and Bannock streets, Boise.
  • Governor Otter conducts a meeting of his Cabinet, including representatives of the Department of Correction, Department of Health and Welfare, Commission on Aging, Department of Juvenile Corrections, Idaho State Police, Commission of Pardons and Parole, State Board of Education, Office of Drug Policy, and State Appellate Public Defender, 3 p.m., Correctional Industries, CSC Building, 1301 N. WEDNESDAY, MAY 20

  • Governor Otter and First Lady Lori Otter participate in Capital for a Day activities, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Paul City Hall/West End Fire Department, 152 South 600 West, Paul.
  • First Lady Lori Otter kicks off a Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge, 9:30 a.m., Summit Elementary School library, 200 10th Ave. West, Jerome.
  • First Lady Lori Otter gives the keynote speech at the School Nurse of the Year banquet, 6 p.m., Meridian School District Office, 1303 E. Central Drive, Meridian.

THURSDAY, MAY 21

  • Governor Otter addresses the regional meeting of the National Association of Counties, 8:30 a.m., Pendleton Convention Center, Pendleton, Oregon.
  • Governor Otter participates in a ribbon cutting and open house for Synoptek, 5 p.m., 348 W. Parkcenter Blvd., Boise.

FRIDAY, MAY 22

  • Governor Otter speaks at the Field of Heroes One-of-a-Kind Tribute to the Fallen Men and Women of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, 10 a.m., Century High School, 7801 Diamondback Drive, Pocatello.
