MONDAY, AUGUST 10

  • Governor Otter hosts a Republican Governors Association Policy Roundtable on “New Energy Solutions,” 10:15 a.m., Sun Valley Inn, Sun Valley.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 11

  • Governor Otter visits the Summer Youth Employment Program/Idaho Youth Conservation Corps INL Mentoring Program, 4 p.m., CAES Building, 995 University Blvd., 2nd Floor Auditorium, Idaho Falls.
  • Governor Otter testifies at the U.S. Department of Energy’s public hearing on the possibility of storing elemental mercury at the Idaho National Laboratory, 7 p.m., Shilo Inn, Idaho Falls.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12

  • Governor Otter participates in a grand opening/ribbon cutting for the new Doctors’ Hospital and Sky Bridge at Bingham Memorial Hospital, 9 a.m., 98 Poplar St., Blackfoot.
  • Governor Otter participates in the groundbreaking ceremony for work on the Idaho 48 Passing Lane project, 11 a.m., Rigby High School, Rigby.
  • Governor Otter participates in the groundbreaking ceremony for work on the Chubbuck Interchange to Pocatello Creek Interchange widening project, 1:30 p.m., Interstate 86 Chubbuck Interchange, Chubbuck.
  • Governor Otter visits the Summer Youth Employment Program/Idaho Youth Conservation Corps Fish and Game Crew, 3 p.m., Edson Fichter Trail and Nature Area, Indian Hill Elementary School, 666 Cheyenne Ave., Pocatello.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 13

  • Governor Otter conducts a Cabinet meeting, including representatives of the Office of Species Conservation, Department of Lands, Department of Parks and Recreation, Northwest Power and Conservation Council, Department of Environmental Quality, Department of Fish and Game, Department of Water Resources, Department of Agriculture, Office of Energy Resources, and Public Utilities Commission, 9 a.m., Office of Species Conservation, 300 N. 6th St., Boise.
  • Governor Otter addresses the Idaho Trucking Association’s 75th Annual Convention, noon, Boise Centre, Boise.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 14

  • Governor Otter presents the Award of Excellence at the Idaho Prosecuting Attorneys Association conference, 8:40 a.m., Grove Hotel, Boise.
