FLAGS AT HALF STAFF IN HONOR OF FORMER
BOISE – Governor Jim Risch has ordered flags at the State Capitol Building and other state buildings and facilities to be flown at half-staff starting today in honor of former President Gerald Ford. The flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on January 25, 2007, a period of 30 days. “Gerald Ford was a President who truly had the best interests of the American people at heart. I salute his long and distinguished service to our country,” said Risch. President Ford was the thirty-eighth U.S. President and was 93 years old at the time of his death. ### |
