RISCH APPOINTS TOM FAULKNER
AS GOODING COUNTY COMMISSIONER

BOISE - Governor Jim Risch today appointed Tom Faulkner as the District 2 Gooding County Commissioner. He replaces Carolyn Elexpuru who resigned on July 15 due to her move to Twin Falls.

The Gooding County Republican Central Committee interviewed applicants and submitted three names to Governor Risch for consideration. Faulkner, from Bliss, was the number one choice of the committee. The other names submitted were Jess D. (Dick) Elliott of Bliss and David P. Maestas of Hagerman.

Faulkner will fill the unexpired term of Elexpuru.
