RISCH ORDERS FLAGS TO HALF-STAFF
IN HONOR OF FALLEN SOLDIER

BOISE - Governor Jim Risch has ordered flags at the State Capitol Building and other state buildings and facilities to be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, November 14 in honor of Spc. James Lee (Doug) Bridges.  Bridges, 22, of Buhl died in Baghdad, Iraq on November 4.

“It is so very important that we remember Specialist Bridges for his service to our state and nation,” said Risch. “We mourn with his family the passing of this young man and the flags at half-staff are a reminder of the supreme sacrifice made in the name of freedom.”

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday the 14^th beginning at 3:30 PM.  The service will be held in the old Middle School gymnasium located at 217 7^th North Street.
