CLETE EDMUNSON JOINS GOVERNOR’S OFFICE (BOISE) – State Representative Clete Edmunson of Council, serving his third term in the Idaho House from western Idaho’s 9th District, joined Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter’s staff today as a field representative for central Idaho. Edmunson, 41, will resign his seat in the Legislature to accept the position. He was vice chairman of the House State Affairs Committee and served on the House Business Committee and the House Environment, Energy and Technology Committee. Edmunson, a former teacher and coach at New Plymouth High School, will represent the governor in a 17-county area from Council to Twin Falls. “It’s great to have someone of Clete’s experience and talent joining my team,” Governor Otter said. “He knows the issues as well as the political and economic realities of rural Idaho. His skills and responsiveness will be a big asset to me as well as to all those constituents in the area he’ll cover.” ### |
