WHEREAS, the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge
F. & A. M. for the States of Oregon, Idaho, and Montana, Inc., has been in
continuous existence since April 23, 1960; and
WHEREAS, the members of this Grand Lodge have
rendered invaluable community and public service to improve the quality of life
for all people within its jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Grand Lodge have
assisted our students with the help of scholarships to further education for any
student in need; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Charles C. Taylor, as a member of Sabre
Lodge No. 7, is the fourth member from Idaho to be so honored as the Most
Worshipful Grand Master of this grand Lodge; and
WHEREAS, the members of this Grand Lodge have,
through their civic contributions, demonstrated their concerns for quality
community work, and a commitment to make a difference; and
WHEREAS, the Grand Lodge will convene its 42nd
annual convention at the Owyhee Plaza Hotel from June 22 through 26 2002;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIRK KEMPTHORNE, Governor of the
State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim June 22 through 26 2002, to be
PRINCE HALL FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONIC DAYS
in Idaho.
