WHEREAS, Northwest Spine Care Institute’s mission is to educate the community regarding treatment and prevention of spinal disorders; and

        WHEREAS, quality spine care is important to the general health and welfare of those living in the State of Idaho as well as those throughout the United States; and

       WHEREAS, enhanced quality of spinal care results in lower healthcare costs; and

       WHEREAS, a need exists for further education and the development of a comprehensive, research-based approach to increase the quality of care for those with spinal disorders; and

       WHEREAS, events, educational seminars, community & physician outreach will all be combined to provide our region with cutting edge research and treatment options, with the goal of improving the outcome of those with spinal disorders;

      NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIRK KEMPTHORNE, Governor of the State of Idaho, hereby proclaim the week of June 19th through 25th, 2005, to be

IDAHO SPINE CARE AWARENESS WEEK

in Idaho.
