WHEREAS, Northwest Spine Care
Institute’s mission is to educate the community regarding treatment and
prevention of spinal disorders; and
WHEREAS, quality spine care is
important to the general health and welfare of those living in the State of
Idaho as well as those throughout the United States; and
WHEREAS, enhanced quality of spinal care
results in lower healthcare costs; and
WHEREAS, a need exists for further
education and the development of a comprehensive, research-based approach to
increase the quality of care for those with spinal disorders; and
WHEREAS, events, educational seminars,
community & physician outreach will all be combined to provide our region with
cutting edge research and treatment options, with the goal of improving the
outcome of those with spinal disorders;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIRK KEMPTHORNE, Governor
of the State of Idaho, hereby proclaim the week of June 19th through 25th, 2005,
to be
IDAHO SPINE CARE AWARENESS WEEK
in Idaho.
IN
WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great
Seal of the State of Idaho at the Capitol in Boise on this fifteenth day of June
in the year of our Lord two-thousand and five and of the Independence of the
United States of America the two hundred twenty-ninth and of the Statehood of
