WHEREAS, the Idaho Senior Games will enhance the maintenance of senior fitness and wellness through athletics; and

        WHEREAS, the Idaho Senior Games will increase an awareness among older Idahoans of the importance of regular physical exercise in individual health plans; and

        WHEREAS, the Idaho Senior Games will provide an opportunity for socialization for older Idahoans and for demonstration of the abilities and vitality of the senior citizen of Idaho; and

        WHEREAS, the Idaho Senior Games will foster activities to promote health and healthy lifestyles;

        NOW, THEREFORE, I, JAMES E. RISCH, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim August 24th through August 27th, 2006, to be
