WHEREAS, the Idaho PTA has been
dedicated to being advocates for the children and youth of Idaho for 101 years;
and
WHEREAS, the Idaho PTA is an
organization that seeks to unite the home, school, and community on behalf of
the children and youth of Idaho; and
WHEREAS, the volunteer membership
of Idaho PTA have donated countless hours, made positive contributions, and
significant differences in the communities throughout the state; and
WHEREAS, the Idaho PTA actively
supports legislation which promotes the health, safety, welfare, and education
of the children of our great state; and
WHEREAS, the continuing efforts
and effectiveness of the Idaho PTA on behalf of our children and youth is widely
recognized and greatly appreciated; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting that a
special time be set aside to honor the leaders and members of this important
association;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIRK
KEMPTHORNE, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim February 2006, to
be
P T A M O N T H
in Idaho.
