WHEREAS, faith-based organizations
are vital to the well-being of our community; and
WHEREAS, Agape Christian Worship Center is a nonprofit, faith-based organization committed to meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of the community; and WHEREAS, Agape Christian Worship Center serves as a distribution center for the Idaho Food Bank, and through this partnership has fed more than 400 families in 2005; and WHEREAS, Agape Christian Worship Center sponsors an annual canned food drive raising more than 1,000 pounds of food for the Idaho Food Bank per year; and WHEREAS, Agape Christian Worship Center is a part of the Treasure Valley Association of Christian Churches, uniting with other faith-based organizations to make a difference in the Treasure Valley; NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIRK KEMPTHORNE, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim March 18, 2006, to be AGAPE CHRISTIAN WORSHIP CENTER DAY in Idaho.
