          WHEREAS, the City of Lewisville, Idaho was established in 1882; and

        WHEREAS, the City of Lewisville, Idaho has played a key role in the development of the potato industry in Idaho as an important historical town; and

        WHEREAS, the City of Lewisville from 1928 to 1937 provided entertainment for Idaho’s citizens with the Lewisville Rodeo;

        NOW, THEREFORE, I, C.L. “BUTCH” OTTER, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim August 11, 2007, to be

CITY OF LEWISVILLE DAY

in Idaho.
