WHEREAS, the Idaho Senior Games will foster activities to promote heath and healthy lifestyles; and

        WHEREAS, the Idaho Senior Games will promote senior fitness and wellness through athletics; and

        WHEREAS, the Idaho Senior Games will increases an awareness among older Idahoans of the importance of regular physical exercise in individual health plans; and

        WHEREAS, the Idaho Senior Games will provide an opportunity for older Idahoans to socialize and demonstrate the abilities and vitality of the senior citizens of Idaho;

        NOW, THEREFORE, I, C.L. “BUTCH” OTTER, Governor of the State of Idaho, do herby proclaim August 23-26, 2007 to be

IDAHO SENIOR GAMES WEEK
