WHEREAS, the state of Idaho has always honored the sacrifices of the men and women in the Armed Forces; and

        WHEREAS, Operation America Rising is a newly formed nonpartisan corporation with the sole mission of showing the men and women of the United States Armed Forces that they are supported; and

        WHEREAS, on July 7th in every state of our nation, appreciative Americans will meet to show our troops they are supported; and

        WHEREAS, the men and women of the United States Armed Forces deserve to know that they are supported by their fellow Americans,

        Therefore, I, C.L. “Butch” Otter, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim July 7, 2007,

OPERATION AMERICA RISING DAY

in Idaho, and offer my thanks for the sacrifices that our troops have made for all Americans.
