WHEREAS, Mr. Charles C. Taylor, 32nd Grand Worthy Patron of the Prince Hall Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, for the States of Oregon, Idaho and Montana, Inc. organized June 1961 and a member of Alfred E. David Chapter No. 8, which said Alfred E. David Chapter No. 8 is a Member; and

        WHEREAS, members of Alfred E. David Chapter No. 8 have rendered invaluable community and public service for the elderly, sick and distressed, through charity and benevolence and development of youth in the community; and

        WHEREAS, members of this Chapter have assisted with scholarships to further education for students in need; and

        WHEREAS, Charles C. Taylor, as Grand Worthy Patron, is a member of Alfred E. David Chapter No. 8, and the fourth to be so honored from the State of Idaho, as Grand Worthy Patron for the States of Oregon, Idaho and Montana, Inc. Prince Hall Affiliated; and

        WHEREAS, a recognition banquet will be held in his honor at the Owyhee Plaza Hotel, Boise, Idaho on March 31, 2007;

        NOW, THEREFORE, I, C.L. “Butch” Otter, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2007 as

CHARLES C. TAYLOR DAY

in Idaho.
