WHEREAS, the health and wellbeing of children is everyone’s responsibility; and

        WHEREAS, the safety of our children is a significant concern for parents, community leaders and health-care providers; and

        WHEREAS, when started in early childhood, proper health, safety and environmental habits can be maintained for a lifetime, thus producing valued members of society and enhancing our community overall;
