WHEREAS, Idaho’s Children are its greatest natural resource; and

        WHEREAS, the Treasure Valley Classic, through the game of golf, builds character and teaches children skills necessary to become successful individuals; and

        WHEREAS, the Idaho Youth Ranch has been a vital part of the State of Idaho for 53 years, providing aid to troubled children and adolescents; and

        WHEREAS, the Idaho Youth Ranch will be the sole beneficiary of proceeds from the Treasure Valley Classic; and

        WHEREAS, this event will bring back an old Idaho tradition that has been sorely missed.

        NOW, THEREFORE, I, C.L. “BUTCH” OTTER, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim May 28^th through June 2^nd, 2007 to be

TREASURE  VALLEY  CLASSIC  DAYS

in Idaho.
