        WHEREAS, Lauraine Williams was born March 18, 1908, and is celebrating her 100th birthday; and

        WHEREAS, Lauraine Williams has lived in the great State of Idaho for 80-plus years; and

        WHEREAS, Lauraine Williams has 8 children, 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and

        WHEREAS, Lauraine Williams, along with her late husband, Joe R. Williams, served the people of the State of Idaho with honesty and steadfastness for 30-plus years; and

        WHEREAS, the life, work and contributions of Lauraine Williams to the great State of Idaho are commendable and honorable;

        NOW, THEREFORE, I, C.L. “Butch” Otter, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby declare March 18, 2008 to be

LAURAINE WILLIAMS DAY

in Idaho.
