Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter spends a few minutes in the broadcast booth with Bronco play-by-play
commentator, Bob Behler, and color analyst, Pete Cavender, before the Boise State Broncos played
the Oregon Ducks. The Broncos went on to beat the Ducks 19 - 8 in BSU’s home opener.

Governor Otter speaks to more than 400 business leaders in Coeur d'Alene about building our economy "the Idaho Way."
His gave this address to the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce at the Coeur d'Alene Resort.

 

Lewiston  September 9, 2009
Governor Otter spoke to members of the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce, to give his message of economic optimism.
He talked about the goal of Project 60 and the role of state government in building our economy.

Idaho Non-Profit groups and other volunteer service organizations for the tremendous work they do in Idaho.

The Governor poses with members of various non-profit and volunteer service organizations after signing a proclamation
recognizing September 11th as a day of remembrance and service in Idaho. The Governor indicated that without these
groups selfless service the demand on taxpayer-funded state government services would be far greater.

 

Twin Falls  September 14, 2009

Governor Otter helps break ground on Stage 2 of the Twin Falls Alternative Route project,
a $26.6 million effort to relieve traffic congestion, improve safety and spur economic development in Twin Falls.

which boosts one of the largest Hispanic circulations in Idaho.

Capital For A Day in Kendrick, ID  September 23, 2009
Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter greets the public and makes some welcoming remarks during the opening minutes of Capital for a Day
 in Kendrick, Idaho. The program which lasted from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm was held at the Kendrick Fire Department.

The Governor spends some time talking with constituents, lawmakers,
and students at Capital for a Day in Kendrick, Idaho.

At the request of some local advocates who raised the issue at “Capital for a Day”, the Governor walked a few blocks
from the Kendrick Fire Station to view the old Kendrick Railroad Depot which some are trying to have preserved.
