Boise, Idaho – Governor Brad Little announced today appointments to Idaho’s Public Employee Retirement System (PERSI) Retirement Board and the Seventh Judicial District Court.

Darin DeAngeli will serve on the Retirement Board for PERSI. DeAngeli has worked as an attorney and certified public accountant for more than 25 years. DeAngeli received his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Oregon and his undergraduate degree from Boise State University.

“Darin has dedicated his career to understanding complex legal and financial issues,” Governor Little said. “His commitment to detail in these matters makes him an extremely trustworthy and capable choice to handle the precious assets of Idaho’s state employees.”

Steven W. Boyce is appointed as District Judge to Idaho’s Seventh Judicial District. A vacancy was created in the Seventh Judicial District Court when Honorable Gregory W. Moeller was appointed to the Idaho Supreme Court by former Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter.

“Judge Boyce has distinguished himself as a thoughtful and prudent attorney and jurist, committed to the people of southeast Idaho,” Governor Little said. “His continued service to the State of Idaho is thoroughly appreciated.”

Boyce practiced law in southeast Idaho for more than 20 years before being selected to serve as magistrate judge of the Seventh Judicial District in Idaho Falls. He is a graduate of the University of Idaho College of Law.

“I am extremely honored to have been selected by Governor Little for this position,” Boyce said.  “I look forward to serving this great region of Idaho and will strive to live up to the expectations placed on me through this appointment.”

Idaho’s Seventh Judicial District serves Bingham, Bonneville, Butte, Clark, Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi, Madison, and Teton counties.
